Skills: Crafting
Here’s how to get started on crafting in the City of Eternals:
Crafting is a way of making powerful items from the ingredients you can get by using your anatomy, mining, or gathering skills. In this case, I’m going to use my Fashionista skill (at level 3) to make some new clothing. Your level in making skills controls what sorts of items and clothing you can make as the more powerful items will require a higher level to make. You gain a skill point every five levels, so keep making things for experience and you’ll be able to craft that high-level gear in no time!
In this case, I am going to make an Acolyte Track Jacket, which requires 1 mangled hide, 1 splintered bone, and 2 flax fiber. Luckily, I’ve already used my anatomy skill to gather these ingredients from bodies in the game. If you can’t find what you need, you may be able to trade other players for it, so just ask. If you’re sure you want this item, just click ‘Make.’ When it’s finished, check your inventory and you should see your item there!
You can’t customize titles, items, or potions after you have made them, but you can change the color of your clothing if you have dye. Dye can be made with your Fashionista skill, bought from merchants, or traded from other players. In this case, I’m going to turn my jacket blood red. I already have some dye I bought earlier, so all I have to do is select ‘colorize,’ find my new clothing in the list, and hit ‘Use this dye!’
What do the color names mean?
Here is a list of color names and their associated colors.
If it is a potion or title, go to your inventory and consume or scribe it. If it’s a magical accessory, go to your fighting gear section. If it is clothing or a title (after you have scribed it) you can equip it in your clothing section. Here I am with my stylish new Blood Red Track Jacket!
